Kierra Landrum, M.Ed.
Doctoral Practicum Student
Kierra is a Doctoral Practicum Student at Cook Counseling Center. She earned her B.A in Psychology, her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is currently completing her Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology at Radford University. Kierra enjoys working with students of various cultural backgrounds with a wide variety of clinical concerns. She has a specific interest in working to help those dealing with anxiety, interpersonal concerns, sexual identity concerns, depression, and chronic illnesses. Kierra’s approach to treatment is collaborative and integrative, being informed by humanistic and person centered theoretical approaches. Her research interests include intersectionality of racial and sexual identity and health psychology. In her free time, Kierra enjoys performing arts, painting, modern dance, and cooking delicious vegan entrees.
