Jennifer Slusher, Ph.D., LPC

Dr. Jennifer Slusher, PhD works at the VTC Health Sciences and Technology campus in Roanoke.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University in 1998 and her Doctorate in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech in 2007. She has over 25 years of experience working with adults coping with depression, adjustment/life transitions, women’s issues, anxiety, grief/loss, stress, and LGBTQ+ issues. She has been an adjunct instructor at Virginia Tech and Radford University in the Counselor Education program, and has worked in higher education and at various mental health agencies. Jennifer is very active in the Roanoke Area Counselor’s Association (ROACA), the Virginia Counselor’s Association (VCA), and the American Counselors Association.
