Justin Hawkersmith, M.S., NCC
Justin Hawkersmith is a Mental Health Professional at Cook Counseling Center. His professional experience includes individual, group, and couples therapy as well as educational programming. He has worked in a variety of settings including counseling services at the high school and collegiate levels for the past 3 years.
Justin’s therapeutic approach is informed by narrative and solution-focused interventions, and he enjoys using mindfulness and art therapy with his clients. His professional interests include grief and loss, mindfulness, and performance. Justin has an undergraduate degree from Carson-Newman University and completed his Master of Science in the Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a National Certified Counselor and previous Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona.
