Director of Cook Counseling Center
Christopher Flynn is the director of Cook Counseling Center. Flynn previously served as director of Counseling & Career Services at Loyola University, New Orleans and as a staff psychologist at the University Counseling Services of Boston College. He has taught a wide range of courses over the past thirty years, including personality, abnormal psychology and human sexuality.
Flynn holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Miami. Flynn serves on Board of Directors of the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) and is, at present, Vice Chair of the Board of Accreditation. He is an active member of the Association of University and College Counseling Center Directors (AUCCCD) and has served on the AUCCCD board of directors. His clinical interests include individual and couples therapy, sexual functioning, disparities in access to mental health and crisis response.
Flynn is a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified sex therapist (AASECT).
