Anna is an embedded counselor with the Residential Well-being program. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University.

Anna has a clinical background working in inpatient and outpatient medical settings. Anna is currently a generalist practitioner and enjoys working with students experiencing distress related to, grief, substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, adjustments, women’s health, and academic stressors. She utilizes a blend of person-centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solutions focused therapy.

In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her dogs, doing puzzles, and attending sporting events.
