Jason Katte, M.A.
Jason Katte is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds an M.A. in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis. As Associate Director for Triage and Crisis Services, he oversees Cook Connect and Crisis services for the center, aiming to provide students with the best experience when establishing counseling services and utilizing crisis support in high stress situations. Jason has spent the majority of his career in a variety of college counseling environments.
In the therapy space, Jason works from a holistic, collaborative, and culturally affirming approach to identify desired change and create a path forward. Jason tends to work from an emotion-focused and interpersonal lens and has expertise and experience working with a wide variety of trauma presentations, life and identity transitions, couples/relationship issues, grief and loss concerns, as well as many versions of anxiety and depression.
In his free time, Jason enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and motorcycling.
