Cook Counseling Center

Cook Counseling Center seeks to provide a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment for all persons who seek our services.
Cook groups, workshops, and special event schedules.
We are grieving with the Taiwanese and BIPOC communities.
It is with sadness and frustration that we acknowledge the rise of hate crimes against minoritized associated identities. We share the responsibility to come together with and support individuals from a variety of backgrounds and identities with understanding and empathy.
We stand against racial violence.
If you are in Blacksburg and need support, we welcome you to reach out to Cook Counseling at 540-231-6557. Students not in Blacksburg needing support can connect to local mental health resources or can contact Cook for help connecting to resources locally. Students can also explore our Self-Care and Support resources for general self-care strategies and resources for coping with racial violence.
