How To Schedule: please call our main number at 540-231-6557 during weekday business hours to schedule an appointment.

After scheduling, you will be sent an email reminder 1-2 business days prior to your appointment with a link to complete paperwork. Paperwork must be completed prior to your appointment and typically takes 10-30 minutes, depending on which forms you are required to complete.

We also have embedded counselors for residential students and some academic colleges. To schedule a Cook Connect Session with your embedded provider, please contact them directly.

Note: Psychiatry services at Cook Counseling Center require a referral from a treatment provider and students must be in concurrent counseling services. Students who already have a psychiatry provider or medical provider prescribing medications should remain with that provider whenever possible.
