Embedded Counselors

Students may request to schedule with an embedded counselor in their academic area/campus location.

We have embedded counselors in the following locations:

If you would like to specifically be scheduled with an embedded counselor within your designated college or location, please request this when you call our office at 540-231-6557.

Residential Well-being

Cook Counseling Center, in partnership with the Department of Residential Well-being (RWB), has a team of RWB Embedded Counselors dedicated to serving Virginia Tech’s student population living on campus. RWB Embedded Counselors provide mental health services from 2-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 1-4 p.m. on Fridays.
