Cook Counseling Center senior staff and interns meet weekly for a two-hour weekly staff meeting or a multidiciplinary consultation meeting . During the consultation meetings, the staff divides into smaller teams for case conference discussions, during which, staff present and discuss cases for which they wish clinical feedback and direction. Client utilization patterns are also discussed in the consultation meetings.

Staff, interns and invited speakers provide periodic staff development training in areas of professional interest. Over the course of the training year, interns are expected to develop and present to the staff a diversity case conceptualization, an outreach project on the topic of their choice, and the results of their research project(s).

In addition, all clinical staff meet for one hour per week for an additional case conference, during which, clients that may be in need of coordination of services within and across the university, may be discussed.
