Samuel Browning, M.S.

Doctoral Psychology Practicum Student

Samuel Browning is a Doctoral Practicum Student who is deeply committed to helping a diverse range of individuals. Fueled by his personal experiences, educational background, and sincere passion for helping others, Samuel is driven to guide and empower students as they navigate the challenges of early adulthood. He is particularly interested in supporting students with identity development, values clarification, and specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, and interpersonal difficulties.

In therapy, Samuel strives to establish a genuine, collaborative relationship that encourages clients to embrace their situations and search for meaning and possibility as they look ahead. Samuel draws from the latest psychological science to help clients explore their values, articulate their experiences, and strategize toward a brighter and more promising future.

Samuel earned his B.S. in Psychology and his M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the same institution. In his free time, Samuel loves spending time with his wife and baby daughter, learning about new cultures, and listening to music.
