Residential Well-being Embedded Counseling
Cook Counseling Center, in partnership with the Department of Residential Well-being (RWB), has a team of RWB Embedded Counselors dedicated to serving Virginia Tech’s student population living on campus. Their mission, in collaboration with RWB stakeholders, is to elevate residential students’ mental, emotional, and social well-being by reducing barriers to mental health services.
Located in East Eggleston Hall, Suite 107, RWB Embedded Counselors provide confidential counseling, crisis response, drop-in consultation, and outreach support for residential students.
Beginning Monday, May 20, 2024, RWB Embedded Counselors offer mental health services from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, until Friday, August 16, 2024.
Beginning Monday, August 19, 2024, RWB Embedded Counselors will resume services from 2-10 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 1-4 p.m. on Fridays.
