Regina Ray, M.S.W.
Regina works as an Embedded Counselor within the Residential Well-being program. She has experience working with college students with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. She enjoys working with students from all backgrounds and has a specialization in working with minority women, first generation students, and students of color.
She received a BSW from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and an MSW from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her therapy style involves developing a solid therapeutic alliance and finding common ground to start the work with students. She aims to establish an open space for students to feel invited, validated, and supported. Regina’s approach relies on Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Solution-focused therapy.
When Regina isn’t working, she enjoys engaging in new DIY craft projects, trying a new tea, shopping, and reading a good book.
