Ivan Gonzalez Pacheco

Ivan, a Fiscal Technician Senior, provides financial and administrative support at the Cook Counseling Center. With a degree in finance from Radford University, he joined Virginia Tech in 2019. Ivan handles department purchases, ensures compliance with university policies, manages travel authorizations and expenses, tracks budget balances, processes payroll, and oversees fixed assets and surplus property.

Previously, he worked as a Project Coordinator for Continuing and Professional Education, organizing events for university departments, state agencies, and other external entities. Outside of work, Ivan enjoys family time, CrossFit, outdoor adventures, and expanding his plant collection from local nurseries.
