Crystal Helm, L.P.N.

As Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Crystal is responsible for the well-being of the students by scheduling appointments, not only within the department, but with dieticians and other outside providers.  

She also coordinates referrals for psychiatric needs of students, ensures correct administration of medications, monitoring the results of medicated and non-medicated treatments that reflect the student’s best interests.

As LPN, Crystal completes Triage appointments and performs other administrative duties. Her organizational skills are a vital component to the effectiveness of Cook Counseling's psychiatric department.

Crystal has been an LPN for 24 years, and been a part of the Cook Counseling Psychiatry Team for 20 years.
