Chloe Scales
Chloe Scales is a graduate student in Virginia Tech’s Counselor Education program. Chloe received a B.A. in Classical Studies from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Teaching from Hollins University. She taught high school Latin for seven years in Roanoke County before returning to graduate school to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Chloe is excited to work with individuals of all presenting concerns, backgrounds, and identities. She operates primarily from a blend of existential and Jungian theories, and her clinical interests include anxiety, OCD, and grief. She also has a particular interest in using mindfulness interventions in her practice.
Outside of the office, Chloe enjoys all yarn crafts, particularly spinning and knitting, as well as reading, hiking with her husband, drinking tea, and playing cello and harp. She also loves spending time with animals, especially her two pet rabbits.
